As the Team Leader of UIU MARINER 2025, I led the design, development, and deployment of UIU Hydra Scorpion, an advanced Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) built for the MATE ROV Competition. Our ROV features a precision-controlled robotic arm for underwater manipulation, eight powerful thrusters for agile navigation, and a modular frame designed for deep-sea missions like shipwreck detection and marine data collection.
Along with leadership, I contributed technical mastery to the team. I worked on the ROV’s electrical build, PCB design, communication, security, and control system. I designed the robotic arm’s inner circuit, guided the mechanical design, planned strategies, assigned tasks, and evaluated each member’s progress weekly, ensuring seamless integration and team success.
Under my leadership, our team successfully integrated machine vision, robotics, and underwater communication systems, earning us the World Championship title at the MATE ROV Competition. This achievement reflects my ability to combine technical expertise, innovation, and teamwork to deliver impactful engineering solutions.
