I developed AI IELTS, a free, intelligent IELTS Speaking Test application designed to help students practice and improve their speaking skills using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP). The app simulates real IELTS speaking interviews, analyzes users’ speech in real time, and provides automated scoring and personalized feedback based on fluency, pronunciation, lexical resource, and grammatical range. As the lead developer, I implemented the speech-to-text engine, designed the NLP-based scoring algorithm, and optimized the feedback generation system to ensure natural, examiner-like responses. I also integrated a user-friendly interface and cloud-based data processing to make the app accessible to learners worldwide. This project earned me the champion title in my Software Engineering Lab project show at United International University, highlighting the effectiveness and innovation of the application. It reflects my passion for combining AI, linguistics, and education technology to make language learning more personalized and affordable through innovative software solutions.
